The Victorian decor transported us back in time, and the exclusive view of Main St and Ouray mountain amphitheater from our large suite on the second floor was breathtaking. the room, featuring a unique brick wall original to the hotel, provided a tranquil retreat at the back of the Inn. The lovingly restored turn-of-the-century Colorado inn truly captures the essence of Ouray's historic district. the peaceful ambiance and convenient location made it an ideal choice for our short-term stay. the amenities, including a sauna and hot tub, added a luxurious touch to our relaxation. Breakfast at the sunny breakfast room was a delightful experience, offering a full buffet spread that catered to a variety of preferences. the courteous treatment at the Bon Ton Restaurant below added to the overall pleasant experience. As a lover of historic inns and picturesque mountain views, St Elmo Hotel exceeded my expectations. the fine shops in the area and the opportunity to relive Colorado's colorful past made our stay even more memorable. I would highly recommend this hotel to couples seeking a romantic getaway or anyone looking to immerse themselves in Ouray's natural beauty and rich history.
